Computers for Communities announces its first Annual General Meeting on Saturday, June 18, 2011

Computers for Communities announces its first Annual General Meeting and invites all interested community members to attend

Ottawa, Ontario – Computers for Communities (C4C), an Ottawa-based non-profit that refurbishes computers and distributes them to those in need in exchange for community service, is pleased to announce its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) formembers, stakeholders and other interested participants. The meeting will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Emerald Plaza branch of the Ottawa Public Library, which is located at 1547 Merivale Road.

“I am very excited to extend a welcoming invitation to the community to attend our AGM in order to help us celebrate our many successes this past year. We will also be launching our first volume of the C4C newsletter,” says Executive Director, Dave Sampson. “So come out to our first of many Annual General Meetings!”

The AGM will provide an opportunity to hear about C4C’s recent success stories and plans for the upcoming year. The Board of Directors and many of C4C’s volunteers will be on hand to share their experiences and answer questions about the organization.
